The colours and cultures of Asia provide the inspiration for this collection of Eliz's distinctive individual creations

Dear Friends
Here at DGL we are of course now gearing up for the temple Consecration by Khamtrul Rinpoche which will extend over 3 days from 18-20 April. The first day will be the actual consecration ceremony when the Rinpoches and monks will come from Tashi Jong & Jangchub Jong to join the nuns for the daylong Vajrasattva puja. The middle day (19th) will be when the people from outside will come here for lunch, speeches and performances by the nuns such as Dakini dances, a play on the life of early Buddhist nuns in India and a demonstration of debating. The last day the nuns and monks will recite the Kangyur in the newly consecrated temple.
The builders are still working hard to have everything finished on time and the nuns are rehearsing the ritual and also the dances that they will perform. Recently Choegyal Rinpoche came by to inspect the statues, murals and thangkas in the temple to make sure they are all correct since he is an artist. The nuns are also planting flowers, shrubs and trees in our newly landscaped garden.
With much Metta. Eliz
